Back in gear!

We are back from Deep Creek and moving forward full steam. I have made more phone calls today! They are the ones that you dread making and always put off...DONE! I am still boxing things and I am hoping to spend the next few days cleaning bathrooms and the kitchen. I am also going to try to keep up with the endless laundry. Picture me crushed by the piles here.

Here is my baby of the day....

House update...the house 6 doors down sold for the full asking price 1 week after listing...Good news for us! Hopefully things will go quickly for us too. Our realtor is coming next week to walk through the house. The girls keep asking me for things and they say...if it's not in a box, can I have??
I am excited that Rachel had her sonogram. We are keeping up our girl streak over here! They will be expecting more pink stuff in early August! She will be Julia Baby of the World according to Abby and Jenna.
Off to Deep Creek Lake this weekend...to see Horton and shop for Webkinz!

Happy Easter!

We had such a great day with family. It was a long drive to Aunt Molly's but the girls did great. Ddaddy rode with us and even complimented my driving! The girls did endless easter egg hunts. I still can't believe that Tricia does not tire of it! I know Rach and I were endless with it as kids too. Sug's shirt pocket was always a favorite hiding place. Always in the polo shirt pocket. We had a fun egg hunt at MomMom's with all their cousins. Nathan and Katie are going to be fierce competition for the big girls next year.

Kristen and I looked at old pictures. Here is one that she found from about a month before Katie was born. Yikes. I can't believe I was so huge. I promise to get the easter pics on here by tomorrow Kristen!

Off to do the endless laundry...The weekend is over already?!?!? What happened!

Houses

Well we are well on our way with getting things out. I am hoping to get the rest of the boxes from the playroom out this weekend. I am not sure what to do about the laundry room. I would think that people who are looking at a townhouse are going to expect some storage things to still be here. If it was a million dollar house I would be more worried. We have picked a nice sticky tile to put down in place of the Pergo in the bathroom. The painting is almost done despite the primer problem. The last painting will be the girls rooms. They just need fresh paint. A few new houses have come up and they are just out of our price range. Slightly depressing considering the state of the housing market. I think it will all work out though. I mean I am boxing up toys and Disney characters....anyone who knows me knows that that means business!

Katie has recently discovered the Wonder Pets. She loves the little characters and she really loves the theme song. She rocks out to it and screams YEa! at the end. Thanks to Bear for the Wonder Pets Flyboat. We now have to take the "guys" with us in a little sand bucket. She is very annoyed that they don't all fit in her pockets. Her pac also has a place in the bucket. It is really funny to watch.

The girls and I had a movie night on tuesday. Jammies and Enchanted. The best movie I have seen in a long time. Pip rocks and so do the songs. "So friends even though you're Vermin...."

Don't you want to see the christmas window at Mousey's Mark?

Painting!

We got some done! Finally! It is taking forever because I am a miserable primer and painter...very messy. Next up the hole in the ceiling. Then the floor in the bathroom. Liz is going to come and check us out at the end of the month. Hopefully we will be ready. It is going to be hard on the nights that he is at T Rowe and when the baby is sleeping. I am hoping we can get thorugh and not have a ton of showings before we actually sell it! Of course then we have to find a house! The school district is a a tricky way to search for a house.

A sunny day!

It was great! The girls got to play in the sand and on the swingset! Even Katie enjoyed her first brush with sand. It is going to be a long summer though. She was off like a shot as soon as I put her down outside. She looked so darn cute in her new Crocs. They are adorable on tiny baby feet.
Ballet night. Enough said. Arrgh.
Tomorrow is Saturday and the painting WILL get done. Are you reading this Mark ??
Took another load of boxes over to his parents house. I am still debating the merits of getting a giant dumpster :)

Back on track

and trying to get things done. I realized something about myself recently. I think I might be my own worst enemy when it comes to getting projects done. Sometimes all I need to do is just start the project! I put it off until I "have time" and then I never do. I have also realized that Katie can entertain herself quite well as long as she is not sleepy or hungry. Even when the girls are at school. My best secondhand find has been that activity garden. She loves that thing. It is so cute to watch her open the little door and go into to play. The cat perches on the edge and watches her.
Got through the girl scout meeting but there is always paperwork! Oh well ...same problem I just need to do it and stop griping about it.
Abby has standardized testing all week so I have been hoping that she won't get sick until the week is over. Jenna is still sniffly and I think the poor kid has been sick for over a month now!
Kaie got a ton of teeth and are they sharp! I think she is glad that she can bite into things now.
The house we like sold. I am not sure if we liked it because it was the only house that was in our price range that was not stuck in 1970 ...:) or what. Oh well. We are still trying to get everything out. It is our best chance of making the most money off the house.

Taking a minute

To catch up! It was a crazy weekend! Now I am trying to plan the Girl Scout meeting for tomorrow night! Yikes...there is so much paperwork. I am falling behind on everything else. The house is never going to be ready by the end of march...i can't even keep the sink empty!
oh well. I guess I have to go back to list making. I jinxed myself when I said I was getting caught up.
No nap for Katie today so I think all bets are off when it comes to getting anything else done until she crashes.
arrghhh more crying.....

Organized!

I am getting caught up! I am finally after all this time able to see the floor in bedrooms and start to keep up with the laundry. I know most of it is because we have boxed up so much stuff. I am really starting to think we should never unbox it. I am hoping that I can be objective when we start unpacking when we get a new house.
We are hoping to get the powder room primed and painted this weekend....oh and close up the hole in ceiling! Of course most of that entails me keeping the girls out of the way :)
The rescue mission is going to love me! I have been tossing stuff in boxes and I have two ready to go...i took two boxes last week too!
My one failing is my inability to keep the paperwork under control. I know where everything is but it is so messy! You could get crushed by paperwork if you tip the wrong pile in my desk! Plus the girls school papers really start to add up. I secretly throw them away. I just keep a few. Gosh I hope Abby does not read this!
Off to do endless Girl Scout paperwork!

Running...and Katie

Today was a crazy one for Katie and I. We had to take the girls to school and then I had to get the preschool classes basket ready for the Auction of Faith this weekend. Kate and I had to run to the bank and Michaels. Then we had to go back and finish it and go back to school to get Jenna...then ballet and Kohls to return the defective water pik. We still have to go get Abby and go to the GS leaders meeting. Yikes...I hope she likes her car seat. THe wind is insane and we have been chasing random things around the yard as we open the van door each time.
Last night the frog pod crashed down in the tub. This evenings project will be cleaning up all the spilled shampoo :(
Has anyone watched Mr. Magorium?? Don't bother if it is for your kids...depressing! Very cool special effects though...Abby was in tears by the end!

A warm day!

It's supposed to warm up today! I am so excited! I can send the girls outside and there will be no whining. Things are moving along with the house projects. It just costs so much to do each project...that's why we had not done them in the first place! We got a little bit more furniture out and a load of boxes. Of course we can't find the one book that Jenna loves. Her Julius book. It looks like it might be easier to buy her another copy than go through all those darn boxes! Kiss Stroke Admire...her favorite part about the silky mouse baby as she calls him. Abby has had a math benchmark test and she got a 91%. We were very excited for her. She works very hard in school. Katie is starting to explore more and she is getting ready to run. She gets faster every day. She also got two molars and two more teeth in the front (finally)
