Are there Dolphins down there?!

Jenna's asked me last night during her shower. She vaguely gestured towards the drain and the shower floor. "I mean are they under there?" I just am always amazed by the stuff that runs through their heads!
Katie has learned a few new words..."thank you Mama" is my personal favorite. "No!" is very cute for now. I think it will get old quick though. She said "Yeah" for the firsttime last night when asked if she wanted to hold the guinea pig.
Abby is so ready for her birthday! She is hoping for some sort of small pet. Daisy is hoping for a hamster to kabob.

Happy Birthday Jenna!

Today is Jenna's 5th Birthday! Five years old! She starts kindergarten in the fall. She was born at 6:23 so she is almost there. We got her a set of cutting food and some books. She also got some clothes and a picnic set. We spent the day at Gettysburg outlets. She wanted to pick out a dress from the Gymboree Outlets for her birthday. We even got the matching hairbows. She picked pizza for lunch and then we went and got a webkinz :)

She and Daddy are making her cake right now. We got ice cream and special candles.

Tomorrow we are taking in iced brownies to her preschool. We are celebrating Jenna, Mark and Abby at the family party on Saturday.
I can't believe that she is getting so big. She was arguing with Abby the other day and they were fighting over who got to swiffer what bathroom?!?!? Anyway I told her she could do the foyer. She got really upset then. I asked her why and she screamed..... " I don't even know what a foyer is!!!" I couldn't stop laughing. She was further irritated by that though!
They are planning their roller skating party and are trying to decide what kind of plates and party favors to have.

No NIbbles

On the house yet. I was so hoping to have had showings by now. We found a house want too! It looks like in this market we are just going to have to be patient. I am confident that we will sell our townhouse though. I think we just need a few weekends where it does not rain.

Listed!

The house is listed and we are trying to keep it clean. The problem is we live here! It is hard to get a one year old to not leave a trail behind her. The girls are being very helpful and keeping their rooms neat.
We are almost to Jenna's 5th birthday. I really can't believe it. I still have shopping to do for her too! I still am amazed that she is going to start school and be gone all day. Katie and I are going to be so lonely.

Abby is excited about her birthday too. She got an excellent report card! We are really proud of how well she is doing.

Katie got a Neurosmith toy from Aunt Tricia for Christmas and was originally terrfied of the weasel that pops out of it. Recently she has become obssessed with it. Where go? she says as she waits by it. Hello! as he pops out and Byebye! as she shoves him back down into the hole. Pop goes! is what she says if she wants you to pop him out.

The Hole is FIXED!!

The hole is fixed can I say it again! Thank you Mom ;)
The cleaning is almost done and the boxing is coming along. I have to scrub the playroom bathroom and get a few more pretty plants. I am feeling ready! We are going to paint Jenna's bedroom and hope to get that done this weekend. The two other houses that sold recently were only on the market for 19 days and 8 days! Yikes. They went for full asking price too!
Congrats to Jenn on the listing of her house. Good Luck!
Katie has a million teeth coming in. She is stompy again.
Jenna is excited about her birthday coming up. She can't wait to go out to eat! I think she is going to pick Chilis :)
Abby is gearing up for her second grade program and she has a reading part.
Abby and Jenna are in the finishing stages of their dances for the recital. Both of Abby's dances are to Disney songs. Jenna is a bumblebee.

Laundry and listing!

I am crushed by laundry....what am I doing wrong? I can never keep it all clean and put away! Arrghhh....i know that when people start coming through the house that is the last thing they are going to want to see. So close to listing and I hope the selling goes fast! We are having the hole in the ceiling repaired tomorrow (finally!) and then we are on our way.
The best part about the house we found this weekend is that we don't have to change schools. Abby is very excited about that. I really hope it all works out!
Off to pack like we are moving instead of packing to declutter.

The floor is finished and the power washer is fixed. Now if we can get it done before it rains we should be set! We are looking at a few houses today. We are going to focus on boxing and getting the girls room painted. I picked a color called toasted coconut. It sounds yummy. I hope it looks good on the walls.

A hunting we will go ...

We are almost listed. We have to finish the floor. Mark is hoping to finish it tonight after the girls go to bed. I am going to try to get the kids room's painted this weekend. I am pleased with the price point Liz is thinking of. We are going to see a few more houses this weekend. I hope that one jumps up and says Buy ME! It will make the deciding so much easier.

Brownies tonight......so much craft stuff is needed. I have to drag it all in and then drag it all home again. I think next year we are going to find somewhere with a storage closet!

Off to get Abby from the bus.

The hunt continues

We are having Liz come out tomorrow night. She is going to give us a run through of what she thinks we still need to do. The floor should be done by tuesday night, we ran into some technical difficulties with the installation. The girls rooms still need to be painted but we are probably going to list anyway and do it as we go. I am so proud of all the work we have been able to get done.
We went and looked at 4 houses yesterday. One was so yucky we turned around and walked back out! One was cute but not quite right as Goldilocks would say. The third was nice but only two bedrooms upstairs. We really want them all on the same floor. Plus that one had a teeny tiny family room. The fourth one was the best. We are putting it at the top of our list for now. It is three bedrooms and a gigantic family room! It has brand new kitchen and bathroom remodeling. It is in a cute neighborhood that is obviously family oriented. Plus it is in the new school district and super close to it too.
We celebrated PopPops 60th birthday with lasagna and cake! We even had these cool candles that were like sparklers.
I spent alot of today planning for the cursed Brownie meeting. I takes hours to plan all the crafts and shop for the supplies.
We are hoping to go look at a house that is in our school district tomorrow night as well.
Keeping my fingers crossed that they are looking to move soon...the price is still high. Maybe if we use our puss n boots face??

The birthdays are coming!

April starts the beginning of a super busy time for the Benjamins! We have Jenna's birthday on the 27th. Then Mark on the 7 th of May and Abby on the 11th. Abby's birthday and Mothers Day are the same day this year. We are planning their parties and trying to make sure that we can have house showings. That is a great combo!

Jenna is planning her list and has been for quite some time. At the top is a Nintendo DS and wooden/felt playfood for the kitchen that Molly gave them last Christmas. Jenna is my Gymboree girl. She loves to look online and plan outfits. She plans them down to the accessories. Kristen and I think our girls were switched at birth....um when was the last time anyone saw me with an accessory?!

Abby is hoping for clothes, earrings and books. She wants to get more songs on her Ipod...namely the Jonas Bros! She loves to get gift cards...which is good because she is getting harder to shop for. She loves crafty projecty things but is not into too many "toys" anymore. She loves to play kitchen and school with her sisters.

Katie is grumpy again. I swear some one took my nice agreeable baby and left a pod baby. She has been stompy and horrible. I feel bad because I think most of her problem is that she wants so badly to be like the big girls. She wants to use the sink when she brushes her teeth. She wants to color with markers. She wants to use the potty. I am not going to fuss at her about that though! She gets to look forward to a checkup with shots this week. That should add some more stomping to her day.
The house stuff is moving along. I am trying to stay calm about listing and having people come through. It is going to be hard when Mark is at TRowe though. We are going to look at a house on Saturday. There are no pictures on the web so it could be disco inferno inside. Who knows?!
